Title: Cook

Reports to: Executive Chef

Number of Positions: 1

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow food safety regulations and practices.
  • Operate kitchen appliances and cooking equipment.
  • Prepare food according to recipes and standards.
  • Clean food preparation areas and maintain hygiene.
  • Dress orders for presentation.
  • Assist with menu planning.
  • Maintain and update stock inventory records.
  • Oversee kitchen operations and workflow.
  • Efficiently resolve any issues with customers’ orders.
  • Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
  • Chop, slice, and season food as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  2. Diploma in Food and Beverage Production.

Requirements:

  • Ensure appealing plate presentation.
  • Plate meals according to standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Properly store all food items.
  • Inform wait staff about daily specials.
  • High standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
